I finally finished a coffee table I had been working on for a while. I didn’t want to post it until I figured out how to tame the super shine I was getting from the wax I put on the table.  I figured it out soon enough…made the necessary adjustments (not hard – a little more sanding back) and it’s a beautiful finished table. Sneak Peak of a Wood Valance Project

Just a quick post today to give you a peek of a project I have just finished.  I will post more pics as soon as this lovely wooden valance is installed in my client’s kitchen!  I will have a full tutorial on this very soon – so make sure you are signed up via email to receive my updates. Here’s a closeup…the stencil makes the wood look inlaid.

Napoleonic Blue and Old White Chalk Painted Demilune with Stencil

Here’s a great little $5 demilune table that I found on Craigslist. The owner said to me “It’s only half a table and that’s why it’s $5.”I said “No problem – I’ll be right over!” I guess she didn’t know what a “demilune” was. I added some Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and a Royal Design Studio stencil – and changed the look completely.
